Cookie policy
In accordance with Article 22 of Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce ("LSSI") and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), GAIA AGROTECH VENTURES, S.L. (hereinafter "Mas Climent") provides information on the use of cookies at https://www.mascliment.com/ ("the website"). This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process your personal data.
1. What are cookies? A cookie is a small file that the website sends to your browser and that is stored on your device. It can be read again by our servers or by third-party servers on later visits. Cookies may also be placed through scripts or web beacons for the same purpose of collecting information about your browsing.
2. Types of cookies we use.
Technical or functional: required for the website to work (e.g. keeping products in your cart, remembering your language or completing checkout). They do not require your consent.
Statistics: they allow us to understand how the website is used so we can improve it. They require your consent.
Marketing/tracking: used to provide third-party services such as express payment. They require your consent.
3. Cookies used on our website.
Shopify (Storefront API) — Functional: shopping cart management and product synchronisation.
Shopify Payments — Functional: secure payment processing during checkout.
Shop Pay (Shopify) — Marketing: express checkout button on product pages.
Google Analytics 4 — Statistics: website usage analytics (anonymised IP, no advertising personalisation signals). Only activated after you accept the cookie notice.
Some of these cookies are managed by providers that may be located outside the European Economic Area (e.g. the United States). In that case, the transfer is covered by the safeguards required by the GDPR.
When you start the checkout process you will be redirected to https://checkout.mascliment.com/, a Mas Climent subdomain technically operated by Shopify, where the order and payment are completed. During that process Shopify sets its own cookies (strictly necessary for the order, payment and security, together with Shop Pay and Shopify's own analytics), governed by Shopify's cookie policy (https://www.shopify.com/legal/cookies). Shopify displays its own cookie notice on that page, where you can accept or reject non-essential cookies regardless of the choice you made on our website.
4. Consent. When you first visit the website, a cookie notice is displayed with the options "Accept", "Reject" and "Customise", presented with the same level of prominence. If you select "Accept", all the cookies described in this policy will be set. If you select "Reject", only technical or functional cookies, strictly necessary for the website to work and not requiring consent, will be used. If you select "Customise", you can enable or disable each category separately.
Manage your consent settings: you can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link, permanently available in the website footer. From there you can review and change the cookie categories you have authorised.
Independently of the above, you can also delete stored cookies from your browser settings (see section 5); when you visit the website again after doing so, the initial consent notice will be shown again.
In any case, even if you do not change your preferences, the consent given will be valid for a maximum of 12 months, after which you will be asked again through the cookie notice.
5. How to disable or delete cookies. You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge or Opera. Please note that if you disable all cookies, the website may stop working properly.
6. Your rights. You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, portability and withdrawal of consent by writing to info@mascliment.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (https://www.aepd.es/).
