Privacy policy
This privacy policy provides information, in accordance with article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and with Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on information society services and electronic commerce (“LSSI”), on the processing of personal data carried out by GAIA AGROTECH VENTURES, S.L. (“Mas Climent”) in relation to users of this website, people who contact us through the contact form and people who buy products online.

2. Data processed. Depending on the actions you take, we may process the following data: name and surname, phone, email, tax ID and address, needed to provide the services and features of the website. Providing this data is necessary to answer your enquiry, process your order or provide the service requested; if it is not provided, we cannot do so.
Credit or debit card details are entered directly into the Shopify Payments and PayPal payment gateways and are neither stored by nor accessible to Mas Climent.
3. Purposes. Answering enquiries received through the contact form; managing and shipping orders; sending the newsletter; and obtaining website usage statistics through cookies (more information in the Cookie Policy). Personal data is not used for profiling or automated decision-making.
4. Legal basis. Contact form: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR) in handling enquiries received. Order management: performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR). Newsletter: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR) or, where applicable, legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR) under art. 21.2 LSSI. Cookies: user consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), revocable at any time.
5. Retention. Contact enquiries: 6 months after they are resolved. Orders: 6 years after the transaction, for tax and commercial obligations. Newsletter: until consent is withdrawn or the right to object is exercised. Statistics cookies: until consent is withdrawn or for the periods stated for each cookie in the Cookie Policy. The record of the user's choice on non-essential cookies is not kept beyond the applicable legal or recommended period.
6. Recipients and international transfers. Mas Climent does not share data with third parties except where necessary to provide the contracted service or to comply with legal obligations: fraud-prevention entities, law enforcement and judicial authorities where applicable, public administrations, carriers delivering orders, and the Shopify and PayPal payment gateways.
The use of Shopify, PayPal and certain cookies may involve transferring data to providers located outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are made with the safeguards required by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or another appropriate mechanism); in the case of cookies, the user's consent is also requested (more information in the Cookie Policy).
7. Rights. Users may at any time exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, portability and withdrawal of consent by writing to info@mascliment.com. They may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
